8- Cable application characteristics
|
8.1 The maximum long-term rated temperature allowed for the cable conductor during normal operation is 90°C.
8.2 During short circuit (duration not exceeding 5 seconds), the maximum allowable temperature of the cable conductor is 250°C.
8.3 The cable installation temperature should not be lower than 0 ℃
8.4 Minimum bending radius for cable installation:
The minimum bending radius of the cable during installation : not less than 20 times the outer diameter of the cable;
The minimum bending radius of the cable after installation : not less than 15 times the outer diameter of the cable.
8.5The cables are widely used in power transmission and distribution systems, including urban power distribution networks and industrial power supplies. They are suitable for fixed installation, outdoor and indoor installations, direct burial installations, cable ducts, cable trenches, and tunnels, and can withstand moderate pressure. Depending on the model, the cables offer radial water resistance or both radial and longitudinal water resistance
