6-Wire core identification
|
6.1 Insulation coloring identification:
1-core cable: yellow or green or red or blue or yellow-green double color or as per customer's requirement.
2-core cable: red, blue; 3-core cable: yellow, green, red;
4-core cable: yellow, green, red, blue;
5-core cable: yellow, green, red, blue, yellow-green double color or black or as per customer’s requirements;
3+1 core cable: yellow, green, red, blue;
3+2 core cable: yellow, green, red, blue, yellow-green double color or black or as per customer’s requirements;
4+1 core cable: yellow, green, red, blue, yellow-green dual-color or black or as per customer's requirements.
Note 1 : Yellow, green and red are used for the main line core, and blue is used for the neutral line core.
6.2 Multi-core cable insulation digital identification:
2-core cable: 0, 1; 3-core cable: 1, 2, 3; 4-core cable: 0, 1, 2, 3;
4-core cable: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4;
Note 2 : The numbers should be white or as per customer requirements, where 1, 2, 3 are for main cores, 0 is for neutral core, and in 5-core cables, number 4 refers to special purpose conductors (including grounding conductors).

9- Cable application characteristics
|
9.1 The maximum long-term rated temperature allowed for the cable conductor during normal operation is 70°C.
9.2 During short circuit (duration not exceeding 5 seconds), the maximum allowable temperature of the cable conductor is 160°C.
9.3 The cable installation temperature should not be lower than 0 ℃
9.4 Minimum bending radius for cable installation
9.4.1 Single-core unarmored cable:
The minimum cable bend radius during installation should be no less than 20 times the cable's outer diameter.
The minimum cable bend radius after installation should be no less than 15 times the cable's outer diameter.
9.4.2 Single-core armored cable:
The minimum bending radius of the cable during installation : not less than 15 times the outer diameter of the cable;
The minimum bending radius of the cable after installation : not less than 12 times the outer diameter of the cable.
9.4.3 Multi-core unarmored cables:
The minimum bending radius of the cable during installation : not less than 15 times the outer diameter of the cable;
The minimum bending radius of the cable after installation : not less than 12 times the outer diameter of the cable.
9.4.4 Multi-core armored cables:
The minimum bending radius of the cable during installation : not less than 12 times the outer diameter of the cable;
The minimum bending radius of the cable after installation : not less than 10 times the outer diameter of the cable.
9.5 cable is widely used in 0.6/1kV and 1.8/3kV power distribution systems. The cable is suitable for fixed installation both indoors and outdoors,direct burial installations, pipelines, cable trays, conduits, and cable trenches. Metal-tape armored cable can withstand mechanical forces but not significant tension. Metal-wire armored cable can withstand mechanical forces and considerable tension. Unarmored cable cannot withstand tension or compression.
