6.1 Insulation coloring identification:
6.1.1 When colored insulation is used for identification of insulated wire cores, each insulated wire core may only use one color, except for the green/yellow combination color.
6.1.2 The insulation core colors of any multi-core cable cannot be green and yellow, which are not combined colors.
6.1.2 For green/yellow insulated wire cores, one color shall cover at least 30% and not more than 70% of the surface of the insulated wire core, and the other color shall cover the rest and be consistent throughout.
6.1.4 The preferred color spectrum for insulation coloring of cables with five cores or less is as follows:
1 core and 2 core: no preference for color spectrum;
3 cores: green/yellow, blue, brown or brown, black, gray;
4 cores: green/yellow, brown, black, gray or blue, brown, black, gray;
5-core: green/yellow, blue, brown, black, gray or blue, brown, black, gray, black.
6.1.5 When there are special requirements for chromatography, the supply and demand parties can negotiate and determine according to customer requirements.
6.2 Insulation digital identification:
6.2.1 The insulation cores of cables with more than two cores may also be identified by numbers. The insulation should be of the same color and arranged in natural order from the inner layer to the outer layer starting with the insulation core No. 1 (it is recommended to print white numbers on black insulation), except for the green/yellow insulation core (if any).
6.2.2 When the sign consists of a single number, a horizontal line should be added under the number. When the sign consists of two numbers, they should be arranged vertically and a horizontal line should be added under the latter number. The interval di between two adjacent groups of numbers should not be greater than 50mm. The arrangement of the digital identification signs is shown in the figure below:
